Haggerty Scholars Program

The FBA Oregon Chapter Ancer Haggerty Scholars Program offers current high school juniors an opportunity to explore their interests in law and civil rights.  Scholars selected for the program are recognized at the annual FBA Oregon Chapter dinner to kick off the program.  Program participants then meet with a local attorney mentor, visit one or more law offices (such as a law firm, government prosecutor, or defender’s office) during a week over the summer break, and attend law and civil rights events during the 2017-2018 school year.

For more information about Judge Haggerty’s career, see the U.S. District Court Historical Society pages here and  here.
